Summiting Your Personal Aconcagua with Stephen McGhee

The Aconcagua Project

In 2011 six unique men pushed themselves to the edge of their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual boundaries. They summited the highest mountain in the world outside of Asia…The Mighty Aconcagua.

The Aconcagua Man Project challenged each participant’s physical, financial and relational success. This project was not for the faint of heart. This team claimed the clarity and integration of their lives.

This interview is an overview of the Aconcagua Man Project and is the catalyst for change that is yet to come. Each person faces his or her own Aconcagua and the principles learned in this interview will help him or her to summit and discover their capability.

I ask as you listen to apply the lessons of this interview to yourself. Make them relevant to you because it is not so much what is being said that matters, as much as what you learn.

The Aconcagua Project is not over, it has merely begun and like an iceberg in the vast ocean, we have only seen the surface.

So please, shut out all distraction and really listen. This could change your life

    Nick,

You are a master interviewer. You have a way of making me think, go deeper and really pull the application out of an event.

Bless you for your commitment and your skill.

    Nick,
Thank you so much for your interviewing gift that helps me “get” my own Aconcagua project.

    Stephen,
Thank you for devoting yourself to being an experiential leader, rather than a theoretical leader. I love and appreciate you.

Profound. How we view each task and team member to get us one step closer to our dream takes on a new meaning when you listen to Stephen McGhee’s recount of his journey to the summit of Aconcagua. Conquering the looming fear of death to accomplish a tktktkt goal awakens us to the power of commitment — in most cases a cheap investment to get anything we want in life. McGhee’s project??? The ultimate commitment. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for evolving my life.

Thank you for this beautiful and inspiring interview. I was touched by many things brought out, but was especially interested in Stephen’s comments on (1.)clarity of vision and (2.) one’s obligation to experience our realities rather than to simply theorize about them.

It’s one thing to talk about doing good; it’s another thing to get out there and “put your money where your mouth is.”

Thank you Stephen for sharing a beautiful and life changing experience and thank you, Nick, for such a sensitive and insightful interview.

Wonderful interview, story, project and accomplishment. I’ve known you for quite a few years now and this is as clear as I’ve heard you. You returned with a new, solid, tranquil serenity, no longer needing to prove anything. Good on ya mate!

    Loving,
