Plug: Divorce Social Support Groups

Let's face it, going through divorce sucks, and it's even worse when you're doing it alone. As entrepreneurs and professionals we face a higher divorce rate than most couples. The thing is that divorce is not easy for anyone and I believe it is important to seek out social support. Having a connection to people experiencing what you are experiencing is incredibly therapeutic--though none of this should be construed as therapy in any form.
As I work through the challenges of my own divorce, I've sought out people who understand me. One of my favorite places to connect is Reddit. Now, a caveat here; CHECK ALL OF THE INFORMATION YOU RECEIVE. Check it against what you know and talk to people you trust before taking any action. Here are some links I have found that may help you:
For gender neutral support, go here:

For women who want to connect with other women going through divorce, here is a link that may help you:

Men wanting to connect with men, here is a link for you:

In all cases, pick a group you feel comfortable with. If you can, get professional help. There is nothing better than having someone on your side who is trained in this arena.
I wish you the best and hope this helps you move forward in your life.
